Kelly Newton-Wordsworth is an international award winning singer/songwriter. Since becoming a Christian in 1995, she has lived a spiritual life dedicated to going, doing and being whatever God leads her to go, do and be. Some of the highlights in her life since she started performing and speaking all over the world, include opening the 'World Healing Summit' in Monterey, California in 1997, where she performed the song she wrote for Princess Diana, 'Princess of Peace'. From this launch pad, she went on to sing for the last King of Thailand, King Bhumibol, her own song, 'Long live the King of Thailand'. This was song was recorded in Bangkok with her Thai producer, Cherchai Wongsuwan. Hello magazine placed her CD's in over 100,000 magazines which historically sold out within one day. She was honoured by the King with a diamond brouch. She was told by many people that she is the first foreigner ever to write a song for any Thai King. She went on from this to sing for the 'Peoples' Alliance for Democracy, the 'Yellow Shirts' every weekend for many months. This was very dangerous. One evening she heard God ask her to "leave". She left and a bomb went off under the stage.
