Letter the Same: Songwriter Steve Scolamiero, a/k/a The S-Man, scoured the Northeast to find what he termed "underdogs," musicians influenced by the greats but with their own modern sensibility. His infectious enthusiasm has resulted in the authorship, arrangement, and recording of over forth songs in a variety of styles--love songs, rock, funk, acoustic, horn, pop songs, political songs, rhythm and blues songs--all of which can collectively can only be described as true "alternative."

With many of his underdogs tied to national acts but also remaining local musical stars in their own right, S-Man and his fellow musicians have walked a tightrope of musical competition creating a whole that is greater than the sum of its individual parts. Led by S-Man's musical vision and approach, the band has created songs that are timeless and classic, yet fresh.
