Revelation Lesson-33: The Endgame: Bowls of Wrath - Part I

Today we are in Lesson-33 in the series “Come Lord Jesus!” from the book of Revelation.
 
This lesson is titled “The Endgame: Bowls of Wrath – Part I” and our focus passage is Revelation 15.

In our previous episode, we concluded our study of Revelation 14, “Where Do You Stand?”

The key question is this: Where do I stand with Christ? Am I actually behaving like an authentic believer? How am I Walking? How am I Witnessing? How am I Waiting?

In today’s lesson we begin our study of Revelation 15 and 16. We pick up the narrative on God’s final judgment on this earth from the end of chapter 11 and after the interlude of chapters 12-14.

This is the day when God’s wrath will be poured out completely on this unbelieving world. The final stages of God’s plan to reclaim Eden are being played out.

The imagery used here is one of 7 plagues poured out on mankind via 7 Bowls of God’s Wrath (cf. Rev. 15:7-8; 16:1).

In today’s lesson we will focus on our first division: Prologue of Wrath: Judgment Prepared (Rev. 15:1-8). Let’s get started.
