Dual Box Supported Straddle Planche
Using parallette bars or hex dumbbells, position the dumbbells parallel to eachother at about shoulder width apart with 2 plyo boxes where each foot would be in a straddle planche (legs wide). Position the top of your feet on the boxes with your arms on the parallette bars. Support your bodyweight and progressively lean forward. Hold for a few seconds pointing the toes as hard as you can, flexing the quads, and keeping the upper back rounded with the core and low back engaged. Lean forward reaching your chin away from your hands. Make sure to push your arms into the bars as hard as you can. When you are about to fail, bend your knees and rock your body back into a tabletop position.
Trainer Tip: This is a very difficult exercise and if you hold it for a few seconds at a time that is great. Build it up slowly and take breaks in between each rep to recover.
