Has The Simulation Arrived? Going Beyond The Matrix

The Matrix became an instant classic after it revealed the approaching danger of the simulation. With the never-ending technological progress and the rise of artificial intelligence, will we see the simulation coming? The movie is based in part on a book by French philosopher Jean Baudrillard, who developed the deeper idea of the simulation. For him, we are already running headfirst into hyper reality, a simulated world always trying to perfect everything.

Are we already living in a simulation? If we were, how could we tell? From Instagram to dieting we seem so focused on living the perfect life that we have lost the essence of life itself. The Matrix gives us a classic good guy bad guy setup, but what if the real simulation were already here and there was no way to unplug?

From Ted Talk and Joe Rogan down to the level of Logan Paul and Andrew Tate, the simulation argument has seen a rise in popularity recently, so we felt it would be fun to go through the Matrix movie as well as some of the more philosophical aspects of simulation.
