Strive to Enter (8) : The Violent Take it

Another hard saying of Jesus was the Kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent take it by force. What did He mean by that? Isn't violence opposed to the nature of Christ? Certainly in the usual context yes. But when it comes to the evil of the flesh and the pressures of the world around us NOT to be and have and do everything God has invited us into - you cannot be passive. You have to make a decision to take what Jesus paid for you to have, and do everything in your power to overcome those things keeping you out . .
