Railfanning in Peekskill during the Cherry Blossom Festival! Featuring Metro North & Amtrak

Recorded on 5/4/24. The Cherry Blossom Festival brought me and my family to Peekskill last spring. I took a separate car to stay late and do some railfanning here. Unfortunately, my sister got something caught in her eye, resulting in a scratched cornea, so my family had to bail out immediately after we arrived. So, I utilized the extra time to get more trains here. You get to see different operations occurring compared to normal since the Peekskill and MTA Police Departments had to manage crowds going through the Hudson Avenue grade crossing, which connected the parking lots to the festival at the Riverfront. It was a great time! Enjoy all of the action Peekskill has to offer! Tandrum Boy is not being featured in this video, lol!
