Post-Conditioning Abs & Back

First thing following Conditioning & Mobility I did my 100x daily Toes to Bar to check that “No-Fail” block.

Next, I began my back training with Wide-Grip Lat Pulldowns. Even though I’m in a trap/rear-delt focused mesocycle, I still want to keep in a vertical pull for lat maintenance volume. Since this is my only direct lat work, I do it first, fresh and relatively heavy.

Following pulldowns, I next did some direct trap work with Seated Dumbbell Shrugs. With these I tuck my chin at the top do bias the lower trap/midback area and try to let the dumbbells pull on my shoulders for a stretch at the bottom.

Last, I hit the Pec-Deck and did Rear-Delt Reverse Flyes. This is pure posterior deltoid isolation drawing your elbows back in an arc and then fighting the handles as you return to the start position in front.

And that’s it. Week 3 of this Trap/Rear-Delt pulling focus.
