POT ROAST with ONIONS, POTATOES & CARROTS
Place a pot roast in a deep baking pan
Cut up onions and place around the roast
Add beef broth until the roast is almost covered
Cover tightly with heavy duty tinfoil
Bake on 400 for 30 minutes
Turn the heat down to 275
Bake for 2 hours
Peel and cut up potatoes and carrots
Add to the pot roast and onions
Bake another 2 hours
We make a gravy using the beef broth

The left overs can be put together and plenty gravy added to make a stew.
