Ezra Lesson-04: The Restoration of Worship - Part II

This Week’s Lesson

We are in Lesson-04 in the series “Rebuilding on the Solid Rock” from the book of Ezra.
 
This is Volume I of our series: “After the Exile” a study of Ezra-Nehemiah-Esther.
 
The lesson is titled “The Restoration of Worship – Part II” and our focus passage is Ezra 3:8-13.
 
Please find your way in your Bible to that passage.

In our previous episode, we began our study of Ezra 3, with our first division “The Proper Way of Worship” from v1-7.
 
In those verses, we saw how the returning exiles were committed to following the Torah faithfully. That was their top priority.
 
We saw also that the author wants to continuously convey the strong sense of community and unity among the Exiles.
 
Remember, this is a select group. The faithful remnant that was stirred by Yahweh to return and to rebuild.

They are committed to Him and committed to work together.

Today we will focus on our second division, “The Proper Place for Worship”, v8-13.
 
The exiles will now turn their attention to the rebuilding of the temple.
