Post-Conditioning Knee-Support Lower

First I began with Lifefitness lying hamstring curls for knee flexion. I contracted forcefully on the concentric and resisted the eccentric for an extended count. I went a bit heavier than usual to keep the loading in the 10+ rep range but sub-maximal, at 2-3 RIR so I’m not wrecked during conditioning tomorrow

Next, for a hip-hinge I did 45 degree back extensions on the Hammer Strength rig. Doing these second emphasizes the hamstring component as opposed to biasing the lower back and the high-volume gets plenty of blood in them after the first, stretch position movement

Last, for calves (gastrocs specifically) I hit the Hammer Strength standing machine calf raise. I do these light and high-volume in a plyometric, bouncy style akin to skipping rope or landing from a jump for some concurrent connective tissue stimulation around the ankle
