CLINGING TO AND FOCUSING ON GOD'S ETERNAL PROMISES

18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY DEAR ONES!!!
I don't know what it's been about the scriptures that I have been reading as of late, especially when it deals with the topic of suffering let's put it that way, that God has been speaking to my heart through these verses of scripture in more ways than one and today was no different. I can very much empathize with Karen Huang this morning's devotional writer, with whatever she was going through with her father, because in one aspect I'm going through that right now with my own mother. My mother suffers from Parkinson's, and she has to be in an assisted living facility, and it breaks my heart. My sister and I had no choice but to put her in the care of people who specialize in Parkinson's, and everything that goes with it, but yet it still breaks my heart. I'm also dealing with my own physical issues, which are becoming more severe every day, and I need to be reminded of the fact that all of this is temporary. Because I am a redeemed child of God, as well as my mother, that we will be restored one day when we see our Savior face to face.

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me from this morning scripture, through this vlog I’d like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you encourages you to see that whatever suffering, pain, hardship, opposition, or physical anything that you were going through, only temporary, and that you have an eternity with Jesus and wholeness to look forward to. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that they encourage you to see these precious promises too.

What suffering are you experiencing?

How can God's promises and all that you have as His child help you to not lose heart?

I pray tonight, my friends, that whatever you are experiencing in the realm of suffering, whether it's physical pain, the loss of a loved one through death, the loss of a marriage, dealing with a toxic spouse or family member, to know that God knows what you are going through, you are eternally, and truly loved by Him, stands by you every step of the way and fights for you, but most of all, that it's all temporary. Remember, my friends, that our suffering doesn't have the final say, God does, and don't be afraid to claim it!
