After a solid start it would appear the viewership for season 2 of HBO’s The Last of Us is on the decline following the death of Pedro Pascal character, Joel.

When the video game The Last of Us part 2 came out fans of the first game were upset with the way the story in the second game unfolded. Now it would appear fans of The Last of Us series are likewise unhappy with the same story decisions in the show. Viewership between the first and third episodes of the season are down and the audience score on various sites like Rotten Tomatoes is way down. We won’t know until the second season of The Last of Us is concluded to see whether or not viewership for the show is truly down, but things don’t look good.
