The Film Actors Guide Sues Epic Games Over AI Darth Vader in Fortnite

Epic Games is facing a lawsuit from SAG-AFTRA over the use of an AI James Earl Jones voice as Darth Vader in Fortnite.

The AI Darth Vader has stirred up a lot of attention since it was released due to players getting it to say inappropriate things; however, this new controversy stems from the union not getting their piece of the pie. James Earl Jones’s estate gave permission for his voice to be used in the game and were compensated for it. SAG-AFTRA has no business in this arrangement, but are inserting themselves in it because they want money too.
