She’s ready to move in 🔑… but the deposit 💵 is not here yet 👀

Met with a tenant today who’s ready to move in… except for one big problem — the security deposit hasn’t been received.
In property management, the rule is non-negotiable:
💡 No deposit = No keys.
Until the funds are in, the tenant cannot take possession of the property.
We sat down to:
✅ Go over the exact amount owed
✅ Confirm what’s been paid vs. what’s still outstanding
✅ Talk about a temporary solution that could get her and her family moved in now
✅ Lay out the plan for future rent payments to keep everything on track
She seems like she’s going to be a great tenant — now we just need to figure out where the payment mix-up happened and get her settled in the right way.
This is the balance in property management: sticking to policy while working with tenants in good faith to get the deal done and keep everyone protected.
