Tenants BIG MAD 🤬 They want to move in without paying the security deposit 💵 Not gonna happen! 🚫

Out today inspecting a property before the new tenants move in, and I want to explain a critical part of our process: No tenant moves in without paying the security deposit.
Here’s why:
Too many times, we’ve tried to “help” people by letting them move in quickly without the deposit.
What happens next? The same month, they don’t pay rent… and we’re forced to evict them.
That’s lost money for us, lost money and time for the homeowner, and frankly, unprofessional as a property management team.
From now on, our policy is plain and simple:
✅ Lease signed
✅ Security deposit paid
➡️ THEN and only then do tenants get possession of the property.
This protects everyone involved:
Tenants know their move-in is fully secured.
Homeowners know their investment is protected.
Our company stays professional, efficient, and within best practices.
At the end of the day, this is about responsibility and respect for all parties. Sign the lease. Pay the dadgum security deposit. THEN move in.
That’s the standard.
