Hey y'all! We are back to continue our discussion on Insulin Resistance. We are now moving into what causes Insulin Resistance. Today we will discuss the role of genetics and aging.

Unfortunately, we don't have the ability to change our genes and aging is going to happen. So, we can't control these variables. However, our genes are NOT the end all/be all. A true genetic cause for Insulin Resistance would only account for approximately 5% of all cases.
