Lower Body Workout: Strength and Hypertrophy Focus
Hey y'all! Here is another leg workout for you. This lower body workout is more focused on strength and hypertrophy than the "Pump" workout. It will train quads, hamstrings and calves. The exercises include belt squats, lunges, leg extension, single leg 45 degree back raise, seated leg curls and a donkey calf raise variation.
I have been "easing" into these workouts to help avoid soreness. I am performing these exercises a little differently than what I had been doing. Therefore, I am much more likely to get sore. I would rather avoid the extreme soreness associated with "new" exercises or just starting to workout. This video and the other lower body workouts show how I have been able to do just that. Hopefully, it will help you to do the same!
