Chris Bailey of Susquehanna University Refused to Allow a Student at a Prayer Vigil for Charlie Kirk

UNKNOWN FEMALE 1: “No, I’m just reading it.”
BAILEY: “OK. You got your phone out. We’re not going to do that.”
UNKNOWN FEMALE 1: “But no, I know, I promise you I’m just reading it because a Nazi scum. That’s kind of really messed up.”
BAILEY: “It’s called — you are taking pictures, and it’s called First Amendment. Are you a student here?”
UNKNOWN FEMALE 1: “No.”
BAILEY: “You’re not a student here?”
UNKNOWN FEMALE 1: “No.”
BAILEY: “Then I can ask you to leave campus. So unless you’re going to ask me — unless you’re going to do it —”
UNKNOWN FEMALE 1: “No, I’m just reading them.”
BAILEY: “No, you’re intimidating me. You were taking pictures and I said not to take pictures.”
UNKNOWN FEMALE 1: “People were taking pictures over there.”
BAILEY: “Understand, over there is fine, but going right in front of the face, we’re not going to have that interaction with our students.”
UNKNOWN FEMALE 1: “I’m not in his face by any means. I’m just reading them.”
BAILEY: “If you’re not a student, I can ask you to leave right now. If you want to stay on campus, I’m just asking you to not take pictures from real close to our students. It’s First Amendment. You’re allowed to be there without intimidation.”
UNKNOWN FEMALE 1: “I’m not intimidating nobody, I’m just reading pictures. No, I’m not mad at you by any means.”
BAILEY: “They’re our students. [indecipherable]”
UNKNOWN FEMALE 1: “But I’m not allowed to take pictures either?”
BAILEY: “You’re allowed to take all the pictures you want.”
UNKNOWN FEMALE 1: “OK.”
BAILEY: “Are you a student?”
