Paris Stabbing: Attacker Calls Himself ‘The Joker’

A horrific knife attack shocked Paris on Sunday, November 9, when a Caribbean migrant stabbed a young couple near the Grand Palais.

The suspect, identified as Haku H., allegedly told police he was “The Joker” from the Batman movies — claiming he tried to reproduce the Joker’s smile on his victims.

Both victims suffered facial slashes, with the male victim sustaining deep wounds to his cheeks. Police said the attack appeared unprovoked.

The 31-year-old suspect, born in Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe, is now under psychiatric evaluation.
