Hey everyone — it’s Leaflit! Today I’m reacting to a video by Asmongold titled “They want me next…” in which he talks about how a surprising number of people on Bluesky and other platforms are literally saying they want him dead, or telling him to hurt himself — even calling for violence against him and streamers like him.

Let me be very clear: violence, death wishes, and threats have no place online. No matter who someone is, what they’ve said, or how controversial their opinions are, actively wishing harm on them or encouraging others to do so crosses a serious line.

Here’s what bothers me most:

This isn’t accountability — it’s harassment. People aren’t just criticizing or debating — they’re calling for someone’s death or self-harm, and that’s dangerous and unacceptable.

Bluesky and platforms with minimal moderation often let this kind of stuff flourish unchecked, which only emboldens people to escalate their language and threats. When a platform becomes an echo chamber for this kind of behavior, it normalizes violence instead of healthy discourse.

We can disagree without calling for violence. If you don’t like what someone says, debate them. Educate. Argue. But telling people to kill themselves or saying you want them murdered isn’t criticism — it’s harassment that can easily spill over into real-world harm.

I’m very critical of the Bluesky users who resort to violent threats instead of thoughtful pushback, and I’m supportive of anyone calling out this behavior and pushing for platforms to take moderation and safety seriously. No debate is worth someone’s life or well-being.

If you agree that online threats and violence aren’t acceptable in any community — left, right, or center — hit Like, Subscribe, and ring the bell. And tell me in the comments: What do you think needs to change on social platforms to reduce threats and harassment like this?
