Hey everyone — it’s Leaflit! In today’s video I’m reacting to a video by Cash Jordan titled “173,000 Somalis ‘SURRENDER to FEAR’… as Trump’s ‘NO MERCY’ DEPORTations Begin NOW” where he talks about ICE ramping up deportations against illegal Somali immigrants — particularly in places like Minnesota where local leaders have tolerated fraud, welfare abuse, and sanctuary policies for too long.

We also see the political backlash around Representative Ilhan Omar, including repeated attacks by former President Trump and others claiming she married her brother to evade immigration law. Omar has firmly denied those allegations as false and there’s no credible evidence they’re true — and she has a documented marital history and timeline that contradicts that rumor.

I’m supportive of ICE following the law. If someone is in the country illegally — especially after repeated warnings and legal processes — it’s the job of Immigration and Customs Enforcement to enforce our immigration laws fairly and consistently. People who break or disregard the law cannot expect special treatment.

Illegal immigration isn’t a victimless issue. When immigrants overstay, lie on paperwork, or exploit welfare systems, it affects American taxpayers and strains legal processes for those who come here responsibly and legally. Many in the Somali community do follow the law and contribute, but we cannot ignore cases of fraud and illegal behavior.

I’m critical of politicians who defend illegal activity or shield lawbreakers. While every person deserves respect and due process, defending or minimizing illegal conduct undermines the rule of law and encourages more of it. Leaders should support lawful immigration systems and push for better enforcement, not excuses.

As for Ilhan Omar: she has denied the allegations about her personal life and there’s no verified evidence she committed fraud in her own immigration history. Focusing on rumors instead of actual legal compliance is a distraction from the real issues at hand — like illegal entry, welfare fraud cases, and public safety.

Bottom line: Law enforcement agencies like ICE should be supported when they operate within the law to uphold immigration standards. Citizens and legal residents deserve a system that works, not one that’s undermined by politics, loopholes, or selective enforcement. If people want reform, they should call for better laws and systems, not defending illegal behavior or spreading unverified claims.
