I Can't Open Pictures In Messenger (Facebook Messenger Problem / www.messenger.com) - Easy Solution!

I never had problems with opening pictures / images on Facebook messenger (messenger.com), but since a few days or maybe weeks I can't do anything with pictures there - not open, not download - really nothing, so what' the problem? Can it be changed in the settings or what's the easiest workaround?
