Our Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness Trip - BWCA 2021

This is a trip for beginners to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. For two of my kids, this is their first time ever visiting the Boundary Waters. I wanted to give them a beautiful introduction to just what the BWCA has to offer. BWCA 2021

On this trip, I take my 3 kids to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in June of 2021. It is the first experience there for my youngest 2 kids and a return trip for me and my oldest. We set out from Entry point #38 on Sawbill Lake for a 3-day, 2-night canoe adventure through the Boundary Waters. This is definitely a challenge with a 16-year old, a 13-year old, and a 10-year old, but we work together and show that it is possible to have a great time as a family with kids in the beautiful wilderness of the Boundary Waters.

On this trip, we spend time on Sawbill Lake, Alton Lake, and Beth Lake. We camp, canoe, swim, fish, and just enjoy some time together...
