2 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup white granulated sugar
1 large egg, room temp
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp almond extract

1: Cream butter and sugar.
2: Beat in egg, vanilla, snd almond extract.
3: In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
4: Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the butter mixture.
5: Roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut out shapes, and bake at 350° for 10 to 11 minutes.
6: When done, remove from oven, and let cool completely before frosting.

Frosting
8 ounces full fat cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla extract
3-4 cups powdered sugar

Cream together cream cheese, and butter. Stir in vanilla extract. Stir in powdered sugar until you reach the desired frosting consistency. Spread on cookies with a knife, or use a piping bag.
